Digby helps Lord Salisbury to solve the two cases, which turn out to be strangely connected. He also completes his Mission and triumphantly returns to the present, only to find that he has also succeeded in the real reason why Dr Duluth sent him into Victorian England. "A STRANGE FOOTPRINT" is a witty and well-researched novel combining electronic espionage and historical adventure in the time of Sherlock Holmes. It is a follow-up to "Time Gun".
