"ALIEN!" (Chrondisp 4)

Following Captain Digby's last Insertion into Bali and Algeria ("Chrondisp 3"), Dr Duluth of the Chrondisp Institute suspects that an Extra-terrestrial has arrived on Earth. In order to prove or disprove this without alarming anyone, he secretly sends Captain Digby back 2500 years to Ancient Greece.

Digby finds on arrival that his Host is totally unsuitable and needs to be trained before he can help him in his search. A positive trace of the Extra-terrestrial is finally found and Digby returns back to the present in AD2015, only to find that the two power groups on Earth, (Asiablock and Westblock) are at each other's throats and World War III is about to start.

"Chrondisp 4" relates how Digby, with Jim, his computer expert friend, discover the reasons for the conflict and by enabling peace to be restored, prepare Mankind for its entry into the Interstellar Age.

As with all the "Chrondisp" series, "Chrondisp 4" is an unusual mixture of hi-tech and historical adventure. Action-filled and thought provoking. A good read.
