used by my customise command (which
uses ports/gen/, ports/jhs/, src/gen/,
src/jhs/ ) , They are there to conform
to
later when/if the index takes off, to conform, I'll need to

Committed IndexA table of when some patches have been commited, to help keep track, when some commiters offer to do more later, [perhaps in a similar area] (Table started 2019-02-13, so apologies it does not include decades of previous commits, & those who offered before to commit more later, who I had no structure to note name for.)
I generaly delete my fixes after theyr commited to FreeBSD for all release I run (which icludes some very old releases, so some patches don't go fast). Though I suppose such deletion might not always be appropriate where there's a similar code stream in other BSD's that might also benefit from retention. Patches get applied localy by my [automatic] application to various current & older releases. At 2014-04 I am maintaining patches for 4.11, 6.4, 7.4, 8.3, 9.1, & 10.0, but that will evolve, see the customise script & the directories of src/ & ports/ above for what is current. |
